Pouncing on individuals is a typical behavior of little puppies. They do this by standing on their rear legs and putting their paws on the person. When dogs leap on small children, they can knock them over or leave scratches. Pouncing up on visitors is unpleasant, annoying and basically a typical infuriation to the dog owners.

You may enjoy your puppy leaping up on you, nevertheless it becomes a huge issue when she gets bigger, especially after it crosses twenty pounds weight. To avoid this pointless jumping behavior of your dog, first off you have got to figure out the motive behind it.

Couple of causes behind dog jumping along with recommended suggestions:

1) Greeting: Smelling scent glands close to the face is one of the ways dogs welcome each other. To recognize the smell, dogs simply bounce up on people. Nonetheless, this is a undesirable manner.

Answer: Prepare a squirt bottle filled with drinking water near the front door of your place, notify your visitor to hold that bottle when they come inside the house and spray whenever the dog pounces up on them. Nearly all dogs don’t like this and stop jumping.

Some dogs like water spray and they may not stop their lunging tendencies. In these cases, you should attach a shock color to your dog, any time you think that your dog is close to leap on your visitor just push the control key and shock your dog. This is a easy technique to get over the dog jumping problem.

2) Dominance: Jumping on people at times indicates your dog wants to dominate and wishes everyone around to acknowledge her. When trying to be dominant, your dog will become controlling of people, toys, furniture, etc.

Solution: This dominant nature in dogs is risky because they may become aggressive when you try to rectify their actions. To stop this, your dog should recognize that you are the owner and make your dog obedient to you and your commands. You should follow some methods to start exercising your dominance for instance never ever let your dog to walk before you. Practice at first you walk and let her to follow you. And also train her simple instructions by using positive reinforcement such as “off” or “no jump” command.

3) The behavior is rewarded with attention: When you get home after work, dog shows affection by jumping on to you. She may do the same when your guests come to your house.

Solution: Basic method to stop this is not to give treat for unwanted activities and do not encourage when your dog jumps up on somebody. And also you have to neglect her when she jumps up on you. Wait till she reaches reserved state of mind, you can show your affection towards her. However once you finished, go back to ignoring her. This shows your dog that, only when you show love to her then she is allowed to pay attention to you. And also you have to inform your family members, friends and neighbors that never give attention to dog when it jumps up on them. Once your dog recognizes their position, you and your guests can then give attention him attention.

4) Intense excitement: Normally, if the dog is seeing you after a reasonable length of time she may jump with pleasure. Some puppies have the habit of jumping when strangers come to home.

To stop this you can use water squirt, shock, positive reinforcement instructions, and so on.

Coaching is key for you to stop your dog jumping. Keep in mind that your entire family must be concerned when training her. With a little help from everybody, you’ll be able to stop dog jumping and your pet will be a happy member of the family.

Follow this advice, and it should help you to Stop Dog Jumping as soon as possible!

“How do I stop my dog chewing?”. This is 1 of the most frequent problems dog owners face at some point, it’s important to realize that dogs are sense-orientated animals and enjoy to get to know objects through their mouth. Puppies, similar to babies have a tendency to go through teething stages in which their gums are a in great distress, chewing on something helps temporarily ease it, in order to save your belongings, supply your dog with a frozen washcloth as an substitute.

Ahead of attempting to train your dog, you need to understand the motive for his chewing tendencies. In puppies, this behaviour is instigated when they are keen to look around surroundings and to relieve pain from developing teeth. Grown up dogs generally do it with frustration| anxiousness, phobia, tension or trying to get your attention. Some dogs do it simply as they have not been trained or taught to stop chewing.

The first step in managing this behavior is to hide all things that you don’t want your dog to chew and arrange soft chewable toys around him. These toys are useful in relieving the pain of teething. Though, you should make sure that it is harmless to chew, cannot be swallowed or break whilst in his mouth. Always try to avoid plastic made hard chewable toys. Filling toys with doggie snacks is one of the most effective techniques to keep your dog stimulated and busy. Also your dog loves the habit of receiving treats out of the toy. This aids to encourage dogs to chew only toys.

If you see your dog chewing 1 of your possessions, it is essential to deal with the issue there and then, fill a bottle with a squirty top up with water and squirt him in the face, if this isn’t possible at that moment then disrupt his chewing with a loud sound each time, he will start to affiliate chewing with the noise and will think twice about it. However, if you do catch your dog in the act, you shouldn’t chase him to get your items back, nor let it turn into a ‘tug of war’ between you and the dog, he will think it’s a game and be even more unwilling to let go. The most effective control tends to come instantly right after an incident has happened, if you do it later, your dog won’t make the link about what he’s done wrong.

Few tips which you can abide by during training:-

- Dogs function on rewards:-This is greatest technique to appreciate him by providing treats when he shows good behavior and also ignore him when he behaves badly.

- Inadequate diet:- This is one of the major reasons behind chewing behaviour as they are searching for particular needed nutrients. This difficulty can be fixed by giving sufficient nutritional food to your dog.

- If your dog enjoys to chew a certain thing, then you can coat it with non toxic bad tasting stuff.

- You shouldn’t lash out, put him into a crate or use a bad tone in your voice to stop dog chewing. If you find any blunders in his actions, correct it without delay because dogs have a limited attention span and might forget things fast.

You love your dog, you love playing with him, spending time with him, taking him for walks, but there is only one particular trouble, your dog won’t stop biting! Many dog owners encounter this problem at some point or another, but just as with anything, it is crucial to recognize the reason behind why your dog is biting if you want to truly prevent it taking place in the near future, nonetheless, 1 point that’s important to comprehend is that biting is a normal behavior for puppies as they are very sense-orientated animals and like to investigate things not only through their eyes, but also their mouths, nevertheless sometimes they don’t understand their own strength or the sharpness of their teeth. Below we’ll learn just a couple of the reasons why this may be happening and how to stop your dog from biting.

To stop your dog biting, it is critical to begin to teach your dog that it’s unacceptable from as a young age as feasible, the earlier you teach him, the less likely he is to carry on. Finger nipping may seem like harmless fun, nevertheless it may grow into a severe behavior problem as your dog grows, attempt to end this quickly. If your puppy bites you, be sure to make a recognizable and overstated cry, or shout ‘ouch’, your dog will understand this since while puppies play together, they generally do the same whenever one of them has been wounded. For more effectiveness, use the ‘Yelp and Shun’ method, once he bites you, let out a loud yelp and then quickly turn your back on him and avoid giving any attention for a few minutes, he will understand and rectify his actions

A very common motive for dogs and puppies to bite is out of fear, if they are in a predicament or surroundings that are new to them, they may feel a little intimidated, if you feel this might be the cause of your dogs behaviour, then it may be best to expose him to new surroundings gradually so that he has time to get used to it, furthermore try and ensure that your tone of voice is calm and relaxed whist doing so, you would be shocked how much of a change that can make. If you recognize a change for the better in your dogs behaviour then compensate him, he’ll be delighted to be valued and will bear it in mind. Try not to shout or punish him while he is frightened, this will simply make it even worse and won’t help you stop dog biting.

If your dog is likely to bite through play, it might be down to over excitement, if this is the situation then I’d suggest you to have smaller playing sessions to qqqbe sure he doesn’t get over-stimulated, furthermore avoid contact games such as wrestling or tug of war. If you were playing fetch, then train your dog to drop the ball or stick on the floor before you throw it again instead of taking it from his mouth

When hoping to stop your dog biting it is important to remember that you should never, under any circumstance strike your dog back, he will only fear you after or his behavior may take a turn for the worse, bear in mind your dog isn’t biting you to be vicious.

“How do I stop dog digging?” This is a frequent problem I see many dog owners face at some point, it can be really annoying to come home to find your garden looking like a minefield due of your dog’s activities, the only way you can truly stop your dog digging is to observe him in the act in order to understand the reason why he does this.

One of the most popular reasons I’ve viewed is that the dog is over-stimulated, he’s built up so much energy during the day that he is means that are natural to him to consume it, an obvious method to rectify this might be to take him on extra frequent or longer walks, or even take him down to the park and play fetch with him, any task you can think of that can keep him up and moving will be advantageous to both your dog and your plants!

Your dog may merely be bored and looking for ways to fill his time via the destruction of your garden, this is most popular if your dog spends a considerable amount of time alone, you must try to remember that digging is an pleasurable activity for your dog and if nobody is actively playing with him and he has absolutely nothing better to do, he will seek his own amusement. A obvious sign of boredom digging is typically comes with barking. If this is the explanation, a advised way to stop your dog digging is to pay him more attention, play with him, take him on walks or supply him with several toys for when you aren’t there, these small actions could help make a big difference in your dog’s behaviour.

If the digging is a seasonal activity, usually taking place in the summer months, then your dog maybe digging this holes for a cooling pit for himself as he’s too hot, if this is the case then you will need to supply a cool shaded area for him in your garden, if you lack trees or other large objects that provide shade after that think about purchasing a small child size paddling pool to relieve your dog, this could be the best means to stop your dog digging.

One cause that is often ignored by dog owners is that their dog may be digging in order to hide bones, this process is innate in them and may feel as if they have to, this can be difficult routine for the dog to break free from as it is a normal process for them. It is essential that you correct his behaviour whilst he is still in the act rather than later as he won’t realize why he is being shouted at, use assertive terminology which he can become used to for example ‘bad dog’ or even equip yourself with a water pistol and squirt him in the face as the digging is occurring, it might take some time, but this is definitely a powerful method to stop your dog digging.

If you have tried all of the activities outlined above and none of them have been effective, then it may be that your dog has too much of a strong link with digging for you to correct, buying a sandbox as a chosen area for your dog to dig may be most helpful to you, for extra usefulness, bury ‘treasures’ and ‘treats’ for your dog to uncover in the sandbox and reward him for discovering them, if you notice that your dog still strays back to digging in areas he should not you could use techniques such as burying water bombs or even the dogs own excrement to give him not very nice past experiences of digging there.

Training, in general, makes use of commands which are effective tool to communicate with the dog. However the main problem in here is the use of the words. What people don’t understand is that the dog simply can’t comprehend the meanings of the words if not introduced to him well.

So in house training a puppy the trainer has to introduce the meaning of the commands well in order to gain some good results. For example, you could begin with the word “outside” to send him the signal that he should go outside. Then it could be followed by the words “go potty” to make him understand that it is time to eliminate.

Whatever he does after, never fail to praise him (in acknowledgement of a favorable behavior) or punish him for failing to follow the commands. Doing this process repetitively will condition his thinking that when you say the words “outside” and “go potty” you want him to go out of the house to poop.

If space is not an option, large rabbit hutches that come with a rabbit run are an ideal option for allowing your rabbit a sense of freedom and the opportunity to do some exploring. Some outdoor rabbit hutches come with storage space to allow you to conveniently stored food, medicine and toys. Your outdoor rabbit hutch may even have an attic which you can fill with straw on colder days to provide extra warmth and insulation.

A very important feature of any rabbit hutch, be it an indoor or outdoor one, is security. Rabbits are shy, delicate creatures and must be given the chance to be able to hide from any perceived threats in order to feel secure in their environment. If your rabbit is to be kept outdoors, special care must be given to provide safety from predators such as dogs, cats, foxes and even badgers. A predator can kill a pet even without getting into the cage, so a hideaway is extremely important to keep your pet safe. This enclosed area with also serve as your bunny’s sleeping area, and if you have more than one rabbit, make sure you have sufficient nesting areas for each as rabbits prefer to nest individually.

One of the benefits of a rabbit hutch as opposed to an indoor rabbit cage is that there will be far less cleaning up. If you forget to clean an inside cage everyday it will cause smells to become quite potent, but smells are typically never a huge issue outside. If you reside in very small quarters and lack sufficient space to grow a pet bunny indoors, an outdoor bunny hutch is most ideal. Pet bunnies can easily be kept outside without any trouble.

One of the negatives of a bunny hutch is that the rabbits will be subjected to bad climate conditions. Bigger rabbits fare better than smaller-sized ones if the temperatures fall excessively low, and little bunnies may not even live through extremely cold temperatures. Varieties with very long ears might perhaps get their ears stuck on cold wires which might cause damage to their ears or even death. Bunnies do best inside, but in moderate climates it is perfectly acceptable to house them outside.
