Sunglasses are a very popular item around the world. While most people choose to wear sunglasses because of the benefits for their eyes, and helping them to see outdoors, other people purchase them because they provide a fashion statement.
There is a huge range of sunglasses on the market. Prices for sunglasses vary quite a lot, from a couple hundred dollars, right down to cheaper sunglasses that cost less than ten dollars. You will also find that the labeling on sunglasses may be different, depending on what features those particular lenses contain.
But no matter which type of sunglasses you choose, they should of course provide basic protection from the sun. As a minimum, they should block Ultra-Violet (UV) light from entering the eyes. They should also protect your eyes from glare, and guard against specific frequencies of light. Unfortunately, not all mens sunglasses have these qualities.
