Fantasy Football League – Chinese Football/Huge Fat Bloke

Classic moments from the 1996 series of Fantasy Football League. Angus Loughran (Statto) commentates on Chinese football, with David Baddiel commenting on the striker Lee Bing (”is it Jason Lee Bing!”).

Baddiel and Skinner then show Danny Baker a clip of Italian football with them claiming Baker was at the game. Danny tries to scupper the gag by saying “Cue Huge Fat Bloke” and sure enough, he is – and a lookalike too.

Guests on the show were Danny Baker and Neil Morrissey.

    STATTO!!! STATTO!!! STATTO!!! God I was about 10 when this was on, used to watch red dwarf then try and stay awake through Newsnight to watch it, and hardly ever managed it. if anyone has episodes PLEASE upload them, u would be a legend!!

    I miss this show, bad as some jokes were. Statto, the armchair audience etc. What a good sport Jeff Astle was singing at the end dressed in a different wierd outfit every week. Would be nice to see something like it on again.
