pros and cons or rabbit hutches and cages

One of the benefits of a rabbit hutch as opposed to an indoor rabbit cage is that there will be far less cleaning up. If you forget to clean an inside cage everyday it will cause smells to become quite potent, but smells are typically never a huge issue outside. If you reside in very small quarters and lack sufficient space to grow a pet bunny indoors, an outdoor bunny hutch is most ideal. Pet bunnies can easily be kept outside without any trouble.

One of the negatives of a bunny hutch is that the rabbits will be subjected to bad climate conditions. Bigger rabbits fare better than smaller-sized ones if the temperatures fall excessively low, and little bunnies may not even live through extremely cold temperatures. Varieties with very long ears might perhaps get their ears stuck on cold wires which might cause damage to their ears or even death. Bunnies do best inside, but in moderate climates it is perfectly acceptable to house them outside.
