Is the Barclays premier league till the best in the world?

October 31st, 2009 | by admin |

The way I see it is, La liga has only two clubs Barca and Real. Premier league has more competitive teams. I know Real has got a lot of good players but, they still suck.

Spot on dude. I don’t make the rules but people will always go for the best product. That’s why it is without a doubt the most watched and followed league in the world and possibly the universe ! ; ) I’m sure even ET tunes in on a cold Monday night to watch Stoke take on Arsenal.

    Yea it is to me

La Liga is a top league but its not pacy enough and it doesn’t have the box to box action like the EPL

Probably right now, yes. I figure the best way to tell is to look at the final eight of the Champions League, each year. The league with the most clubs in is the best.

So currently it’s the EPL, but La Liga are fighting hard to get there.

Yes, of course it is – look at how they are lining up for the Champions League draw – by UEFA ranking the British teams are all in Pot One and ranked in 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th place.

    Compare that with:

    Spain 1st,7th, 11th and 22nd,

    Italy 5th, 10th, 15th and 21st.
