I’ve never played for Sunday League Football Team, but I would really love to join one of them from the beginning of the next season. Do you just ring up asking can you join training and the team and they will just let you unless you are proper rubbish/they have to many players?

Yeah, just contact the club and ask if you could come along to a training session sometime in the next few weeks. Or even better, if any of your mates play for a team ask them to have a word with the coach about you joining. Most clubs are desperate for players so I don’t think you’ll have much trouble getting a place somewhere. Good luck.
