I don’t think you can purchase the minor league franchise. You affiliate with a major league organization and operate the stadium, concessions, etc. Not sure how the money flows but players are paid by their mlb team and at a far cry from what Justin stated. They should average about $1,500 per month and only during the season – they get zero in the off season. I can tell you the field and upkeep is pretty expensive – most are done by municipalities and they have to meet the major league org’s specs. You could probably get started for about $1million or less.
