The league is divided into two divisions. One division with 5 teams, the other with 6. Each division MUST play the teams in that division twice and the opposing division at least once. Can anyone help me with this?
Let’s call the divisions A (5 teams) and B (6 teams)
Each A team plays 8 division games and 6 non-division games = 14 games
Each B team plays 10 division games and 5 non-division games = 15 games
If you want everybody to play the same number of games then A would need 12 non-division games and B would have 10 non-divison games. This results in a 20 game schedule
It’s really pretty simple. Each of the 11 teams play the other 10 teams 2 times each for 20 games.
