Anyway, he tells us out of the destruction of Yevon, people called seekers began looking for ancient spheres to reveal Spira true past, and from them came Sphere Hunters.
The first Sphere Hunter was a Yevon priest. Who knew? He was also the one who started New Yevon. The Crusaders was formed directly as a response to New Yevon’s mysterious hoarding of spheres, and it grew exponentially, most of its members from younger generations.

Even Lucil admits there are some shady characters within the Youth League ranks…for example: A very valuable sphere they found was jacked. Despite this, loyalty seems to be rather high, and Nooj has virtually no restrictions for joining other than being sufficient in battle.
